What's Mitter
Mitter is a client for Twitter. Currently, you can use it on Linux, Windows and OS X (running PyGTK) and on a console/terminal.
Current version
0.3.2.2 "It's all in the wrists":
- Double brown paper bag release.
- Fixed a problem with Twitter sending us invalid JSONs.
- Fixed a problem closing Mitter when you don't have a systray.
0.3.2.1 "I shouldn't have written all of those tank programs.":
- Another brown-paper-bag release. Fixes a problem with the loading of icons (which would made the systray crash.)
0.3.2 "I wonder how you'd take to working in a pocket calculator.":
- You can now connect using HTTPS.
- The popup menu on a tweet now have a "Reply" option.
- Changed the way we created the date fields, preventing some crashes on 64 bit machines.
- Fixed a problem with replies in the Cmd interface.
- The prompt in the Cmd interface is now updated properly.
- Tweets can be deleted in the Cmd interface.
Note: There is an issue with Python and the recently released Firefox 3. If FF3 is your default browser, Mitter will fail to open Tweets due Python Issue 1911. This should be fixed in Python 2.5.3 (due September/October 2008.)
